Discovering Jane Anderson

Thought I'd share with you what I am currently sporting as my wallpaper on my Mac. Its an image by an artist called Jane Anderson called 'Little Red Riding Hood'.

I've just discovered her through Sky Arts of all places. When I say 'of all places', I mean I never really go there (now I am working on developing the Sky brand I'm spending lots of time with my head in the Sky website). They are giving away a series of wallpapers from artists as way of promoting a collaboration with the 30th Arts & Business Awards which celebrating excellence in the field of cultural partnerships and sponsorships.

After a visit to Jane's site I found out:

'Jane Anderson is a multi-skilled artist specialising in the production of original cutting-edge contemporary art for modern spaces. Working in paint, pencil and digital media, Jane skilfully draws and paints what she sees around her.'

Have a look for yourself, I think she has a really interesting style that crosses over from the analog fine art landscape into her digital work.
